Important Meeting
There will be a meeting on Friday, June 9th at 7:30 p.m. in the Poison High School auditorium; to discuss with Montana Fish and Game Dept. Officials, the legality of their licensing of residents who fish within the boundaries of the Flathead Reservation.
Other points of concern is the Department's laxity and neglect in the stocking and restoration of the fisheries on the Flathead Lake and it's tributaries, along with the deterioration of the lake in general.
In an telephone conversation with "Chub" Pollman of Poison, he stated that the primary purpose of the meeting is to bring all interested fisherman together to discuss and question Department Officials on these problems.
He is urging concerned fishermen to attend, whether they are non-member residents or tribal members.
